Registration Information

Please review the following terms carefully. By registering for an event, you confirm that you understand and accept them.

  • You must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration and satisfy all other Wizards of the Coast eligibility requirements, including not being suspended from play.
  • You must provide your legal name and Wizards Account. A Melee.gg account may also be required for certain events. We may request passport or Chinese national ID information when required for government filings.
  • Kadou Events complies with applicable Chinese privacy laws and collects only the information needed to operate the event, such as your name, phone number, Wizards Account details, and decklist. Kadou Events and authorized third parties may take photographs and make audio or video recordings at the venue. By registering and participating, you acknowledge that your image and voice may be recorded, used, and distributed. Personal information is protected and deleted after the relevant services have concluded. Information and recordings may be used for event operations, post-event metagame and decklist coverage, and media promotion.
  • Conduct at the venue must comply with Chinese law and venue rules. Alcohol, smoking, and vaping are prohibited.
  • Registration and payment options vary by event and may include the MTGso WeChat Mini Program with WeChat Pay, Melee.gg with PayPal, payment arranged by emailing support@kadouevents.cn (bank transfer or PayPal), or on-site registration (cash in CNY, WeChat Pay, or Alipay). Please follow the instructions listed for the event you are entering.
  • Unless otherwise stated, all dates and times are in Beijing time and all prices are in CNY. Online preregistration for every event closes on October 29, 2026. On-site registration, on-demand events, and events with separate registration terms are governed by the information on their respective pages. If a sold-out event receives a cancellation and refund, that seat will be released for registration immediately.
  • The refund deadline is seven days before the event begins. A full refund may be requested before the deadline. After the deadline, refunds will be refused except in exceptional circumstances.

Prize Wall Voucher Terms

  • Prize Wall Vouchers may be redeemed for merchandise of equal value at the Prize Wall. The minimum denomination is CNY 10. No change will be given, and vouchers have no cash value.
  • Vouchers are valid only during the event. They are unnamed physical items; lost vouchers will not be replaced.
  • Vouchers may be used only at the prize wall, not in sales areas or to pay entry fees.
  • If a voucher states any special conditions, the wording on the voucher takes precedence.

General Tournament Rules

  • By registering, you acknowledge the Rules Enforcement Level listed for your event. Events run at Competitive REL use the current Magic Tournament Rules and Infraction Procedure Guide. Events run at Regular REL use the current Magic Tournament Rules and Judging at Regular Rules Enforcement Level. The Head Judge has final authority over matters not addressed by those documents.
  • Bring your own method for tracking life totals, as well as sleeves, counters, tokens, and any other accessories you need. Score paper, A4 paper, pens, deck registration sheets, sealed pool checklists, and basic lands will be provided at no charge.
  • A round begins when pairings have been posted and a judge calls time for the round. Be seated at your assigned table and ready to play before that announcement. A player who is two minutes late receives a Game Loss but remains in the event. A player who is ten minutes late receives a Match Loss and is temporarily dropped from the event.
  • To remain in the event after being temporarily dropped, speak to a judge before the end of that round so you can be re-entered. Players who do not report to a judge before the round ends will be permanently dropped and cannot be re-entered.
  • If a result has not been submitted, the table is empty, and every other match in the round has finished, an announcement will be made. If the players still fail to report the result, the tournament staff will enter the result least favorable to both players.
  • You may be enrolled in only one event at a time and may not enter events with overlapping schedules. Constructed players must bring a legal deck capable of normal game play. Tournament staff may refuse entry or drop a player whose deck is technically legal but nonfunctional, such as a 60-card deck made entirely of Island.
  • Venue announcements and judge instructions govern any matter not covered above.

Magic Spotlight: Fracture Main Event

After your registration is confirmed, we will send your event information email within seven business days.

Decklist Submission

Submit your decklist through Melee.gg by 18:00 on October 30, 2026. Contact tournament support by October 28 if you need help.

Decklists will remain private on Saturday and will be published for Sunday.

Tournament Structure

Day One (Saturday): 9 Swiss rounds. Players with at least 18 match points advance to Day Two.

Day Two (Sunday): 6 Swiss rounds, followed by a Top 8 single-elimination playoff.

The event will run approximately 7 Swiss rounds, with the final number determined by attendance. The Top 32 will then be divided into four 8-player Booster Draft pods, each followed by single-elimination play.

Structure & Invitations

The number of Team Sealed Swiss rounds will be based on attendance. Invitations and prizes will be awarded from the final Swiss standings; there is no single-elimination playoff, and invitations will not pass down.

  • 16 or fewer teams: the winning team receives Regional Championship invitations
  • 17-35 teams: the top two teams receive invitations; 36-48 teams: the top three teams; 49 or more teams: the top four teams

These invitations are valid only for the corresponding round of the Regional Championship held in China.

This event begins Saturday, October 31 at 14:00. Entry is CNY 1,000. Each player will build a deck of at least 60 cards from one box. The event fires once eight players are registered. The number of Swiss rounds will be determined by attendance, with final standings based on Swiss results. The event will be run at Regular REL.

Command Zone

Admission to the public areas of the event venue is free. A Three-Day Pass or Three-Day VIP Pass is required to enter the Command Zone. Entry fees for individual Commander events do not include Command Zone admission.

Four-player casual Commander play will be available throughout all three days, from Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1. Players may form pods at any time in the Command Zone.

Casual Play Brackets

Before joining a pod, discuss your deck's primary strategy, expected pace, and use of infinite combos, fast mana, or high-powered tutors. On-site matchmaking follows the Commander Brackets framework: Bracket 1 (Exhibition), Bracket 2 (Core), Bracket 3 (Upgraded), and Bracket 4 (Optimized). Bracket 5 (cEDH) is seated separately from casual pods. Make sure everyone at the table agrees on expectations before play begins; venue signage and staff instructions take precedence.

Duel Commander 3v3 Team Event

The event begins Friday, October 30 at 13:00. Entry is 60 Event Vouchers per player, and the event will be run at Regular REL.

Registration is open through the team registration form. Provide the Wizards Account for each team member and arrive at least 30 minutes before the event begins. Players without a team may form one at the venue. Deck Construction & Matches

  1. Each of the three decks must have a different commander, and there may not be a single color shared across the color identities of all three decks.
  2. Other construction rules are TBA.
  3. Player numbers and seat assignments are locked when decks are registered. Teams must choose an appropriate name before the event.

Each player is assigned to seat A, B, or C for the entire event. Players in matching seats play best-of-three matches. The number of Swiss rounds will be based on attendance, and final standings will be determined directly from the Swiss rounds.

Prizes

With 8 teams: 1st receives 540 Prize Wall Vouchers; 2nd receives 420; 3rd-4th receive 240 per team. Prize awards scale with attendance.

Duel Commander 1v1

The event begins Saturday, October 31 at 11:00. Entry is 100 Event Vouchers, and the event will be run at Regular REL.

Competitive Commander (cEDH)

The event begins Saturday, October 31 at 10:30. Entry is 80 Event Vouchers, and the event will be run at Regular REL. Each participant will receive one Lunar Year of the Horse foil Calamity, Galloping Inferno promo.

Pairings and results will be managed through Command Tower. Swiss rounds will be followed by a Top 16 single-elimination playoff; if attendance is below 32 players, only the Top 4 will advance. Pods will normally consist of four players. A sole winner earns 5 points, a draw earns 1 point, and a loss earns 0 points. Tiebreakers are determined by the pairing software, and the official banned list applies.

Two-Headed Giant

The event begins Sunday, November 1 at 11:00. Entry is CNY 80 per team or the equivalent in Event Vouchers. The event consists of three rounds.

Marvel Super Heroes (MSH) Commander Precon Event

This event will be available Sunday, November 1 from 11:00 to 16:00. Entry is CNY 460 per player or the equivalent in Event Vouchers. Each player receives one randomly assigned MSH Commander preconstructed deck and uses it for the event.

Register on site. A valid Command Zone pass is also required for entry.

Secrets of Strixhaven (SOS) Commander Precon Event

This event will be available Sunday, November 1 from 11:00 to 16:00. Entry is CNY 480 per player or the equivalent in Event Vouchers. Each player receives one randomly assigned SOS Commander preconstructed deck and uses it for the event.

Register on site. A valid Command Zone pass is also required for entry.

Prizes

  • Champion: the SOS Commander preconstructed deck not selected for that pod
  • All other players: 100 Prize Wall Vouchers each

Commander Masters (CMM) On-Demand Commander Draft

Available throughout all three days, October 30-November 1, 2026. Each draft fires when eight players are ready.

Entry: CNY 300 per player. Each player drafts three Commander Masters Draft Boosters. After drafting, players split into two four-player pods. The last player remaining in each pod wins.

Registration Information

Provide the email address associated with your Wizards Account for event registration. A valid Command Zone pass is also required for entry.

Prizes

  • Winner of each pod: CNY 180 in Prize Wall Vouchers.
  • Each other player: CNY 20 in Prize Wall Vouchers.

Commander Masters Draft Rules

  1. Pick two cards at a time. Each player starts at 40 life.
  2. Your deck must contain at least 60 cards, including your commander or commanders, and must follow their color identity restrictions. You may include more than one copy of a card.
  3. All monocolored legendary creatures have partner. You may have two commanders if both have partner.
  4. You may attack multiple opponents in the same combat. The last player remaining wins.
  5. All eight players draft together, then split into two four-player pods. Each pod has one winner.

Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate (CLB) On-Demand Commander Draft

Available throughout all three days, October 30-November 1, 2026. Each draft fires when eight players are ready.

Entry: CNY 100 per player. Each player drafts three Chinese-language Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate Draft Boosters. This is a casual Commander Draft event. After drafting, players split into two four-player pods. The last player remaining in each pod wins.

On-Demand Events

16-Player Single-Elimination RCQ

Flights will run Friday, October 30 from 10:00 to 18:00, with every round completed that day. Entry is CNY 150. A flight begins when 16 players are registered; no more than one flight may run with fewer than 16 players. Players may choose Standard or Modern, and all flights will be run at Competitive REL.

Each participant will receive one foil Sunpearl Kirin promo. Provide the email address associated with your Wizards Account and your decklist, then register through the separate MTGso listing for Standard or Modern. 8-Player On-Demand Drafts

Three draft options are planned: Fracture Draft, Mystery Booster 2 (MB2) Draft, and Chaos Draft. Each pod seats eight players and begins as soon as all eight seats are filled.

Availability

  • Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1: on demand all three days

Pods begin whenever eight players have assembled, subject to product availability and on-site capacity.

Draft Options

  • Fracture Draft: uses English-language Fracture Play Boosters. The number of boosters per player is awaiting organizer confirmation.
  • Mystery Booster 2 (MB2) Draft: uses Mystery Booster 2 boosters. The number of boosters per player is awaiting organizer confirmation.
  • Chaos Draft: the product pool, booster mix, and product allocation rules are awaiting organizer confirmation and will be announced before registration opens.

Rules & Tournament Structure

Rules Enforcement Level: Regular.

If an event follows the standard Booster Draft procedure, the expected structure is three boosters per player, with packs passed left-right-left, a minimum deck size of 40 cards, and basic lands provided by the organizer. The organizer has not yet confirmed whether all three draft options will use this structure, nor the deck-construction time, number of rounds, pairing method, number of games per match, or round length. Until those details are confirmed, this paragraph should not be treated as the final event policy.

Registration & Waiting List

Registration will take place at the venue. The organizer will confirm the assembly and waiting area, call-up procedure, treatment of late arrivals and no-shows, and cancellation and refund policy. Until eight players are ready, registrants will remain on the waiting list. Registration closes once a pod is full or the selected product has sold out.
